Work Map The Work Map below captures some of the meetings attended by Patient Council volunteers. Not all meetings are detailed. The activity map is updated approximately every 3 months. (Staff, co-opted members and other volunteers’ hours are not included). Patients' Council core funding provides one full-time project manager and one part-time administrator. The PC secured a 12 month grant from the REH to increase the admin hours to full-time and the role to include development work. The development work focus is specifically to extend collective advocacy into older and younger people’s services at the REH. This runs from January 2010, ending in December 2010. All volunteers are offered group supervision at regular Monday planning meetings. All volunteers sign an activist’s agreement and agree to the aims and objectives of the Patients' Council. Training opportunities are presented to the Monday group. Volunteers are encouraged to take part in training. The volunteers also receive tailored training from the Volunteer Centre Edinburgh and take part in awaydays. The Frequency column details frequency of meetings in a year.
