As well as our work map we also produce different reports.folders_1

Topic Based Reports

Our topic based reports strengthen the voice and opinion of patients. Topical reports can be distributed, presented at meetings and used to look at the issues. They can also say what solutions patients think will work.

Quarterly Progress Reports

Our progress reports are produced every three months. These reports are a month by month, week by week, day by day account of what we have been doing. Our members and staff aim to produce a few lines about each meeting, workshop, or event they attend. These are then collated into a quarterly progress report. These reports are divided into sections.

MAIN POINTS / SUMMARY
The reports can be long. This section highlights some of the reports' main important points, to make things easier for the reader.
COMMUNICATION
A lot of what we do relies on good communication. Here we highlight what work we have done to develop and support this.
COLLECTIVE ADVOCACY MEETINGS (CAM’s)
We hold these meetings on wards. Here we say when we held them and how many people attended. We sometimes report some of the issues raised, but always observe confidentiality.
USER INVOLVEMENT WORK
We see this as different in some ways from our collective advocacy work. We receive many requests from our members to represent patient opinion on working groups and meetings. Here we say what we have been doing in these groups and meetings.
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
To provide the best service we can, we feel it’s important to keep developing the project. Some examples are: developing our volunteers through training, away days, and developing our systems of communication and reporting.
OSCR (Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator) Return / Audited Accounts
RE-PROVISIONING (Hospital re-build)
If we work on something specific for a long period and we feel it is important, we will introduce new sections to the report. OSCR and the hospital re-build are examples.

External Reports

Reports we think are important, written by other organisations will appear here.

Annual Reports

Every year we produce a report which looks back over the previous year.  It is presented at the Annual General Meeting.

Stories of Changing Lives

One of our volunteers has also produced a book ,‘Stories of changing lives’.

Our systems can never capture everything, but we aim to show as much as is practical.
